Every Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:30 PM.
Guests are asked to arrive at 6:45 PM for voice placement and welcoming.

Rehearsal Schedule
A typical rehearsal schedule looks like:

Of course, rehearsals are subject to change depending on various factors.
Physical Requirements
It's important to remember that singing is a full-body activity! For the entirety of rehearsal (with the exception of the Business Meeting), singers are on their feet and on the risers.
Guests should wear comfortable shoes and take advantage of our Physical Warm Up time to ensure their bodies are ready for an evening of song!
What to Expect
Guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to rehearsal to meet our director and get voice placed. Guests will sing something (very short and very informal) to determine which voice part suits them best.

Guests are given a binder with our current repertoire to follow along with. After voice placement and warm ups, guests are placed on the risers near 1-2 singers who sing their part. On a given night, we may rehearse 5-6 songs, including contest songs.
The Annapolis Blend singers have been singing our current repertoire for quite a while - years or decades in some cases! Guests are encouraged to follow along as best they can and not to feel discouraged. Each and every singer on the risers is there to support guests and make them feel as comfortable as possible.
Reading music is certainly helpful but not a requirement by any means!
After rehearsal, the Membership Coordinator will check in with guests to see how they're feeling and to invite them to audition if they wish!
